Koromo - (koh-roe-moh) : White (Shiro) Koi with a red (Hi) Kohaku like pattern and black reticulation of the scales. It was originally created by crossing the Kohaku with the Asagi. There are three main types of Koromo, Ai Goromo, Sumi Goromo, and Budo Goromo. The Ai Goromo is considered having a blue hue reticulation on the red scales. On the Sumi Goromo the reticulation is black and heavier than the Ai Goromo. On the Budo Goromo the reticulation on the red scales gives a purplish or grape appearance.
