Asagi

Asagi - (ah saw-gee) : Asagi was one of the first color patterns developed from the Japanese carp (Magoi) over 160 years ago! They are non-metallic light blue-grey or light blue Koi with a net-like pattern because the edge of the scales are a lighter color than the rest of the scale. There are many subtypes of Asagi but the traditional Asagi will typically have red (Hi) below the lateral on the body and head and occasionally on the fins.
